  • Practical Tax Treaty Application Post-BEPS
  • OECD BEPS Action 15 on Multilateral Instrument (MLI)

Corporate Tax and International Transfer Pricing

This day explores intra-group relations and the role of transfer pricing in multinational enterprises and state interests. Participants examine the arm’s length principle in practice. The topics covered will include:

Understanding International Transfer pricing methods

  • The Comparable uncontrolled price (CUP) method
  • The Resale price method (RPM)
  • The Cost-plus method
  • The Transactional net margin method (TNMM)
  • The Profit split method (PSM)
  • The Commodity rule

Transfer pricing Documentation and dispute resolution

This day focuses on documentation requirements and dispute resolution processes related to transfer pricing. Participants explore compliance techniques and dispute handling under treaties. The topics covered will include:  

  • Purpose of transfer pricing documentation
  • OECD Guidance (OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines: Chapter V)
  • Compliance issues
  • Effective dispute resolution under tax treaties (BEPS Action 14)
