Course Summary

Today’s world needs for continuous supply of high quality power has necessitated developing methods for maximising the reliability of gas turbines and their auxiliary systems. This also has stimulated interest in methods to improve their design, performance and maintenance strategies.

The course will:

  • Cover fundamentals and operating principles of gas turbine and it auxiliary systems.
  • Describe the best practices can be applied to various types of turbomachinery equipment.
  • Analyze the efficiency of compressors, pumps and industrial gas turbines.
  • Present modern maintenance strategies for the above mentioned systems supported by best practices and case studies.
  • Explain procedures to evaluate the performance of those equipment.
  • Go through the API codes on the operation and inspection procedures for the above-mentioned equipment.

Certificates
  • Upon successful completion of the classroom-based training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates. Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE): In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
  • Upon successful completion of the online training course, a GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to all delegates. Guided Learning Hours – In accordance with ISO 9001:2015–certified quality management standards, one Guided Learning Hour is awarded for every 60 minutes of attendance.
