Course Summary

This comprehensive GLOMACS training course combines the practical strengths of Environmental Monitoring and Modelling with the analytical and strategic depth of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA). It equips participants with the technical, analytical, and strategic tools required to manage, monitor, and mitigate environmental and social impacts resulting from industrial and development activities.

Participants will gain a deep understanding of environmental management systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001:2015, learn to apply monitoring and modelling techniques to assess environmental quality, and develop the skills to perform impact assessments that promote sustainable development and stakeholder engagement.
