Course Summary

This comprehensive GLOMACS training program merges advanced knowledge in blast-resistant building design with construction management supervision skills essential for oil, gas, and petrochemical projects. Participants will explore the principles of blast loads, dynamic structural response, material behavior, and CFRP strengthening, while also developing supervision and managerial skills to ensure project success from design to execution.

The training course is designed in line with ASCE guidelines for blast-resistant structures and integrates practical site management tools for risk-free, efficient, and economical project delivery.

This training course will highlight:

  • Principles of steel and concrete structure design against blast loads.
  • Dynamic analysis techniques and material response under blast effects.
  • CFRP strengthening concepts and other advanced materials for protection.
  • Integrity management systems to ensure long-term safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Competence in construction supervision, including planning, scheduling, progress control, claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Techniques for safety compliance, cost control, and performance monitoring during construction.
